We are delighted to announce that New Road Primary School has achieved the School Games PLATNIUM Mark Award for the 2025/26 academic year.
The School Games Mark is a government-led award scheme. It celebrates schools' commitment to developing competitive sport within their school and community.
Our sporting achievements this year include:
Various sporting competitions within Whittlesey and county run festivals. These are boys and girls football, question of sport, netball, table tennis, hockey, fishing, tag-rugby, athletics, cross country and cricket. This is also includes our after school clubs we offer of dodgeball, football, netball and gymnastics. Part of our application also includes our partnerships and working with our local clubs.
We are extremely proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of school sport, including those young volunteers, leaders and officials who made our competitions possible.
