Headteacher Weekly Newsletter

Mr Litten will be writing a weekly newsletter, with the aim to share with you all that is good about our school and its children.

Dear Parents, pupils, and staff,

We all hope you had a restful half-term, and you are keen to return to school for a short but really busy half-term of new experiences, learning and working hard to achieve the very best we can!

A Warm Welcome at Peterborough Mosque

Children from across the school enjoyed a memorable visit to Peterborough Mosque this week, where they were greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality.

For many pupils, it was their first time stepping inside a place of worship that isn’t a church, making the experience both exciting and enriching. The trip offered a valuable opportunity for pupils to appreciate the rich diversity within our community.

Dormice Group Discover Joy in Chinese Music

The children in Dormice, the school’s specialist support group, recently enjoyed a wonderfully sensory musical experience inspired by traditional Chinese culture.

As gentle Chinese melodies played in the background, the pupils relaxed, listened and explored the rhythms in their own way. The room quickly filled

with smiles as pupils watched, listened, and began to

move their bodies in response to the beat. Some tapped their hands, others swayed, and many simply enjoyed the calm atmosphere created by the flowing music.
