Headteacher Weekly Newsletter

Mr Litten will be writing a weekly newsletter, with the aim to share with you all that is good about our school and its children.

Dear Parents, Carers and Children,

Remembrance, courage and service are in our hearts and minds this week. As a school we encourage all our children to respect service men and women; and to be proud of our country’s history and values.

Honouring Remembrance Sunday: Our School Stands Proud

On Sunday, our school was honoured to be represented by both staff and pupils at Whittlesey’s Remembrance Sunday Parade—a moving and important occasion that brought our community together in reflection and gratitude.

Dressed smartly and standing tall, our pupils joined local organisations, veterans, and residents in paying tribute to those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

Their respectful presence and thoughtful participation were a credit to the school and a reflection of the values we hold dear.

We were especially proud to see our pupils who are members of Brownies and Cubs taking part in their uniforms, standing tall and representing their groups with pride. It was also wonderful to see former pupils now serving in the Cadets, continuing their journey of service and leadership.

Thank you to all families who supported the event. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of remembrance, and our school was proud to play a part.

Lest we forget.

A list of future term dates is below. Thank you for supporting our school we are proud of your children and all they achieve.

Kindest Regards,

Mr Rob Litten
