New Road Triumphs in Question of Sport

We are thrilled to announce that the New Road Question of Sport team has been crowned winners of this year’s highly anticipated inter-school competition! Their hard work, teamwork, and impressive sporting knowledge shone through every round, earning them the top spot against some tough contenders.

A huge thank you goes to Mr. Windle from Radio Fenland, who was the perfect quiz master throughout the event. His energy, professionalism, and sense of fun made the competition an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Kind Choices with our Online Voices

This week, our school had the exciting opportunity to work with the Twenty-Twenty Production Team on a powerful project titled “Online Voices – Kind Choices.” Using cutting-edge green screen technology, pupils stepped into the spotlight to film creative scenarios that promote positive and helpful responses to online bullying.

The initiative gave children the chance to explore real-life digital challenges and practice constructive ways to support others online. From offering kind words to reporting harmful behaviour, pupils demonstrated how empathy and responsibility can make the internet a safer space for everyone.
